Privacy Policy
For the Nuru mobile application and the TintOfLife website, both owned and operated by MD Asfanur Arafin.
This page sets out how your personal information is handled across two things operated by MD Asfanur Arafin: the Nuru mobile application (“the App”), available on the App Store and on Google Play, and the TintOfLife website at tintoflife.com. Part 1 covers the Nuru app; Part 2 covers the website and preset store. By using either, you acknowledge that you have had the chance to review this Privacy Policy and consent to the use and disclosure of your information as described here. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the App or the website.
Part 1 — Nuru application
This part applies to the Nuru mobile application (“the App”), published for iPhone and iPad on the App Store and for Android on Google Play, and owned and operated by MD Asfanur Arafin. Part 2 below covers the TintOfLife website separately.
The short version
The App does not collect your personal information. It has no accounts and no sign-in, no servers of our own, and no analytics, advertising or tracking software of any kind. Your photos and videos are processed entirely on your device and are never sent to us or to anyone else. We cannot see what you make in the App.
Your photos and videos
- Photos and videos enter the App only when you pick them yourself, using your device’s own photo picker. The App is not given free run of your photo library.
- What you pick is copied into the App’s private storage on your device so it can be rendered. Imported video files are deleted automatically after a few days.
- Image metadata, such as the orientation flag, is read only so your photo is displayed and rendered the right way up. It is not transmitted anywhere.
- When you export, the finished image or video is saved back to your device’s photo library. Nothing is uploaded, and no copy is kept anywhere but your device.
What the App stores on your device
The App remembers your settings — the template you last used, its options, and a record of your subscription or trial status — in your device’s standard app storage. This stays on the device, is not readable by us, and is removed when you uninstall the App.
Subscriptions and payment
Nuru offers auto-renewing subscriptions and may offer a free trial. Purchases, trials, renewals and cancellations are handled entirely by Apple on the App Store or by Google on Google Play, under their own privacy policies — Apple and Google. We never receive or store your card number, billing address or any other payment detail, and neither store passes us personal information about you. The App is told only whether an entitlement is currently active.
No analytics, advertising or tracking
The App contains no analytics, crash-reporting, advertising or attribution software. We do not collect device identifiers, your IP address, or information about how you use the App; we do not build profiles; and we have no data to sell or share with third parties. If your operating system occasionally asks you to rate the App, that prompt is presented by Apple or Google and tells us nothing about you.
Children
The App is not directed at children. Because it collects no personal information at all, we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone, children included.
If you contact us
If you email us for support, we receive what you choose to send — typically your email address and your message — and use it only to reply to you. We do not add you to a mailing list.
Links to other services
The App may send you to your app store’s subscription-management screen, or to our website. Those services have their own privacy policies and this Policy does not apply to them.
Access, correction and complaints
We adhere to the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Because the App collects no personal information, in the ordinary case there is nothing held about you for us to provide, correct or delete. If you believe we do hold information about you — for instance from an email you have sent us — you may request a copy, or ask us to correct it, at info.tintoflife@gmail.com. Complaints about our privacy practices may be sent to the same address, or in writing to 134 Ingleburn Road, Ingleburn, NSW-2565. We take complaints seriously and will respond shortly after receiving written notice.
Opt-out and uninstalling
You can stop the App’s use of your information at any time by uninstalling it, using the standard uninstall process for your device or app store. Doing so removes the photos it has copied and the settings it has stored.
Part 2 — TintOfLife website & store
This section covers the website at tintoflife.com, including the gallery, journal, lens reviews and preset store. The website is a static site; browsing it does not require an account.
What the website collects
- Browsing. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies on the website, and we do not run third-party analytics. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and request time) for security and reliability, as is normal for any website.
- Enquiries. If you contact us — for example, a booking enquiry or an email — we receive the details you choose to send us (such as your name, email and message) so we can reply.
Purchases and payment
If you buy a Lightroom preset from the store, your payment is processed by Stripe, our payment provider. Card details are entered on Stripe’s secure checkout and handled by Stripe — we never receive or store your card number. We receive confirmation of a successful payment and the email address you provide, which we use to deliver your download and to keep a record of the sale. After purchase, presets are delivered as a secure, time-limited download link.
Your rights, contact, and changes
The access, complaints, and opt-out provisions set out in Part 1 apply equally to information collected through the website. For any privacy request or question, email info.tintoflife@gmail.com or write to 134 Ingleburn Road, Ingleburn, NSW-2565.
Please be aware that we may change this Privacy Policy in the future. We may modify this Policy at any time, in our sole discretion, and all modifications will be effective immediately upon posting the modifications on our website. Please check back from time to time to review our Privacy Policy.
